Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 10, 2026

Curb Vibes is a small editorial project, not a large company, and this policy is meant to be read rather than skimmed past. It explains what happens to your information when you use this site.

Who Is Responsible for Your Information

Curb Vibes is owned and operated by Sonia Zannoni.

Sonia Zannoni, founder and creative editor, is responsible for protecting the personal information collected through this site. You can reach her at support@curbvibes.com or through the Contact page.

I handle privacy questions and requests personally. Running a website also means a few service providers process information on my behalf, and those are listed further down.

What I Collect and Why

The contact form. When you send a message through the Contact page, the form collects your email address, the topic you select, and your message. There is also an optional name field. I use that information to read your message and reply to you. That is the whole purpose.

Sending the contact form does not add you to any email list. Joining the Curb Vibes email list is a separate action you take on purpose, and it is described below.

Where contact messages go. Form submissions are saved in this website’s WordPress installation and are also sent to me by email so I see them. I don’t keep personal information longer than it is needed for the purpose it was collected for.

Spam protection. The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell real visitors apart from automated bots. When you use the form, Turnstile receives technical information from your browser in order to make that check. It is there to keep the form usable, not to profile you.

What the form doesn’t ask for. The contact form does not ask for your address, your postal code, or details about your own property, and there is nothing on this site that asks you to upload photographs of a home. Anything you choose to type into the message field comes to me along with the rest of the message, so please send only what you actually want me to have.

What isn’t here at all. There are no user accounts on this site, nothing is sold here, and there are no advertising or social media tracking pixels.

The Email List

When you request The 10-Minute Curb Story Check, I collect your email address. That is the only information you give me.

I also keep a record of your consent: when you submitted the form, when you confirmed it, how you consented, and which version of the consent wording you were shown. Canadian anti-spam law requires me to be able to prove you asked to hear from me.

My email provider records whether messages were delivered, opened, clicked, bounced, or reported as spam, and whether you unsubscribed. I use that to keep the email working, not to build a profile of you.

I do not collect your name, your address, your postal code, your budget, or anything about your property.

Confirmation. Signing up takes two steps on purpose. You enter your address, then you confirm it from an email I send you. Nothing arrives until you confirm, and an address entered by someone else never becomes a subscription.

Unsubscribing. Every email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. It takes effect immediately.

Who Processes It on My Behalf

A few service providers handle information on my behalf so the site can work:

  • Wealthy Affiliate, which hosts this website and stores its database, including contact form submissions
  • Cloudflare, for the Turnstile spam check on the contact form
  • the email service that delivers form notifications to my inbox
  • MailerLite, Inc., which sends the Curb Vibes email and stores the subscriber list

These providers act on my instructions and for the purposes described in this policy.

I never sell or rent your email address, and I never share it with anyone for their own purposes or for advertising targeting.

MailerLite stores subscriber information on Google Cloud infrastructure in the European Union, and uses Google Cloud EMEA Ltd in Ireland and Vercom S.A. in Poland as sub-processors. This means your email address is processed outside Quebec.

MailerLite is bound by a data processing agreement and by European Commission Standard Contractual Clauses. I assessed this transfer before I began collecting addresses.

Your Choices and Rights

You are never required to use the contact form. If you don’t send a message, I have no message from you and no email address for you.

If you have sent one, you can ask me what personal information I hold about you and ask me to correct it if it’s wrong. You can also ask me to delete a message you’ve sent. I will do that where I’m able to, and I’ll tell you plainly if something has to be kept, for example because it relates to a matter that isn’t finished or to a record I’m required to hold on to.

Write to me at support@curbvibes.com or through the Contact page and tell me what you’d like done.

If you aren’t satisfied with how I’ve handled a request, you can contact the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.

Cookies and Analytics

Curb Vibes does not use advertising cookies, retargeting or session recording.

Cloudflare Turnstile uses technical information from your browser to complete its check on the contact form.

Changes to This Policy

If I change how information is collected or handled on this site, I will update this page and change the date at the top. Meaningful changes will be described rather than slipped in quietly.
