Every house has a curb story. Some of them are hidden behind a garage that takes up most of the view, an entrance nobody can find from the street, or a few decades of changes that never quite settled into one house. Curb Vibes is about looking again before deciding anything needs to go.
I’m Sonia, the founder and creative editor behind Curb Vibes. I choose every house we feature, decide what has to stay, direct the AI concept and write the reasoning you read underneath. AI helps me visualize the direction, but the decisions about what stays, what changes and what gets thrown out are mine. I reject far more concepts than I publish.
Curb Vibes isn’t a renovation service, an architecture practice or a landscape-design studio, and it doesn’t produce custom renderings of anyone’s house. It’s an editorial project about exterior first impressions: believable transformation stories for familiar homes, each one with the reasoning behind it.

Split-levels, bungalows and houses where the garage is the first thing you see collect a lot of quick opinions and not much careful attention, even though they have curb stories too.

Noticing Comes Before Changing
It gets much easier to decide what should change once you can name what’s actually controlling the first impression.

It Has to Look Possible
A concept you could picture on your own street is more useful than one that only works inside a render.
The Honesty Commitments
The Houses Are Fictional. Source houses are created for each story unless we clearly say otherwise. They aren’t real properties, and we don’t take someone’s home and rework it without their permission.
The Concepts Are Labelled. Every visualization is marked as an AI concept for inspiration. Nothing is presented as a finished project or a professional plan.
The Judgment Is Human, and It Has Limits. Selection, constraints and explanation are editorial decisions with my name on them. What I can’t tell you is how any of it applies to a particular property. Structural, safety, accessibility, drainage, electrical and code questions belong with qualified local professionals.
